I am often asked “how can I save a little money on my wedding expenses and still get your services?” Well, the one sure thing you can do is plan your wedding for a weekday or Sunday–not only do I have special rates, but many venues and other vendors may have discounted rates as well.
Saturdays are a hot commodity as choice dates, and between May and October they book up fast, but Sundays, Fridays, and other weekdays are generally underutilized. If you are planning a smaller wedding, perhaps all in one location with reception immediately following your ceremony, a Friday evening is often a good choice. Sundays are simply not as popular a choice for various traditional or cultural reasons, but still offer a full day to plan your party.
